John does his best to put together three hours of music he hopes will move you, entice you, amuse you and make you think every Saturday night.

Vinyl Classics

Oct 2, 2012

Remember listening to classical music on vinyl, long playing records? There was a depth and a sound unlike any other. Our newest series, Vinyl Classics, does just that. It returns you to the sound of classical music on vinyl. As host Pete Kosinski says, “It’s something so old it’s new”. Thanks to WSCL’s extensive vinyl, long playing record album collection, we will broadcast classical music as you once heard it, and will hear it again.

Our Fall Drive begins Friday, October 5th at 6am. The drive continues Monday, October 8th and runs through Friday, October 12th. “Now is the Time” to show your support for Delmarva Public Radio and the stations you’ve come to love and count on every day.

From the Salisbury University Foundation, Inc. website

An open meeting for public comment regarding the future of Delmarva Public Radio will be held Tuesday, October 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center at Salisbury University.
