Annapolis Summit 2014

Please join us this Friday from 1-3pm on WSDL, 90.7 FM for a special program. Join Marc Steiner, host of "Soundbites on Delmarva" for the Annapolis Summit 2014.

Due to some special work which will take out satellite feed down temporarily, we will also be running a special program, "Mexico Uncovered" at noon on WSDL.

Join us this Saturday for a special broadcast of the Southern Delaware Choral Society's performance of J.S. Bach's "Christmas Oratorio". This performance was recorded December 15th, 2013 at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware.

Delmarva Public Radio will be moving to our new location on Salisbury University's East Campus Complex Saturday December 7th at 10:00 AM.

In celebration of the centenary (November 22) of Benjamin Britten - who said that music "has the beauty of loneliness and of pain: of strength and freedom" - WFMT presents a two hour documentary in which leading Britten authorities and performers, many who knew and worked with the composer, reflect on the inspirations behind his art and his communicative power as musician and man.  

Travel with Rick Steves has won the prestigious Gold Medal Award for Best Travel Broadcast-Audio at this year's Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition.

The annual competition is sponsored by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation. Winners of the awards, the most prestigious in the field of travel journalism, were announced Oct. 21 at the SATW convention, held this year in Biloxi, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Where's your Bandana?

Do you have a pet who supports Delmarva Public Radio just as much as you? Donate $50 (or more) to our fall membership drive "The Future is Now" and we'll send you an e-Town bandana while we still can! Take a picture of your cat, dog, or even horse wearing the bandana and post the picture to Delmarva Public Radio's Facebook page. We'll include your pet in our album, "Where's Your Bandana?" for all our followers to see!


We raised over $95,000 thanks to you! Thanks to all the volunteers, businesses, and everyone who pledged their support. Our Fall drive was a huge success.


Change is in the air here at Delmarva Public Radio. We have added some new programming and we will be moving to another location on SU's Campus this year.  Join us in looking towards a bright future by participating in our Fall  Drive.

SALISBURY, MD--A seasoned broadcasting professional with extensive experience in radio production and a strong background in classical music has been appointed the new general manager for Delmarva Public Radio (DPR).

Delmarva Public Radio is proud to be the recipient of a grant through the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore’s Small Grants Program .  The grant of $1,500  will help Delmarva Public Radio to purchase a much needed piece of equipment from Enco Systems; the iDad and Interchange.

NPR has announced that Talk of the Nation, hosted by Neal Conan, will end production on Thursday June 27, 2013. Science Friday with Ira Flatow will continue.


As of last week, Earth and Sky has ceased production. We are sorry to see this program go, but happy to introduce you to Bird Note. Bird Note is a daily two-minute program all about birds and their environment. You can hear Bird Note right before All Things Considered @3:56 every weekday afternoon.
