First Confirmed Flu Case of Season in Delaware

Delaware is reporting its first confirmed flu case this season.

It’s an 8-year-old child from New Castle County.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that state officials will be hold flu vaccination clinics this fall.

Last year there were 24 flu-related deaths and just over 63-hundred confirmed cases.

The 2017-2018 flu season was one of the worst in the history of the state with 35 deaths and more than 9-thousand confirmed cases.
