University of Maryland Takes Responsibility for Football Player's Death

@seven_zerO

After a preliminary investigation the University of Maryland announced that it was taking responsibility for the death of 19 year-old football player Jordon McNair.

It also announced that it has fired football strength coach Rick Court.

Head football coach DJ Durkin remains on the job but school officials said that the investigation is continuing and promises that it will be independent.

Attorney for the McNair family told the Baltimore Sun that he wants the medical records and a copy of the 911 call that show the football player had a seizure around 45 minutes into the workout.

Despite the seizure the paper reports the 911 call was not made until 45 minutes into the work out.

McNair reportedly had a temperature of 106 at the hospital.
