Power outages were reported this morning in Pike Creek and Hockessin.
The Delaware Department of Transportation says a number of traffic signals went dark in the Hockessin area.
Drivers were urged to use caution and lower their speeds.
Meanwhile, Delmarva Power said there were around 17-hundred customers who lost electricity in the Pike Creek area around 9:30 a.m.
Full service was expected to be restored by 11 a.m.
