OC Topless Suit Brings in the Experts

Don Rush

It’s time for the experts in the topless suit brought against Ocean City.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the plaintiffs have submitted a report on human sexuality by Debby Herbenick a professor at Indiana University.

The deadline for offering up experts on the law that bars women from going topless for the plaintiffs was October 5th.

The lawsuit argues that women have the same legal right as men to go bare-chested besides breastfeeding.

In addition, they also claim that it violates the equal protection clause of the 14 Amendment to the U.S. constitution as well as the Declaration of right to the Maryland Constitution.

Defendants have until November 5th for their filing with a hearing scheduled for December 7th.
