The Route 50 Bridge into Ocean City will be shutting down again for more repairs next week.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the Maryland Department of Transportation says it will close the draw bridge overnight beginning Sunday April 15th.

That will run through Friday April 20th.

Work on a small crack in one of the steel beams was repaired on April 6th and state officials decided to work on the others as well since they are of the same age.

Traffic in and out of Ocean City will be rerouted to Maryland Route 90.

The Harry W. Kelly Memorial Bridge generally carries 33-thousand cars each day.

And traffic is expected to ramp up as the tourist season gets underway.
