There’s a new leader in the White Marlin Open.

On the fourth day of the 45th annual tournament Greg Giron with the Underdog came in with a white marlin weighing 83-pounds.

That surpasses Bill Haugland’s 75-pounder on Tuesday.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that this is the first time Giron has been in Ocean City or participated in the tournament.

If his lead holds the prize is worth an estimated $2.6 million.

There were no other changes in the leader board yesterday.
