The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.
She is Kristie Maravalli who will take over after former Executive Director David Martin quit in September of last year citing personal reasons.
Maravalli began her tenure at the Chamber in May as director of membership and the Chamber has decided not fill that position.
Instead, she and other employees will take on that responsibility.
Maravalli’s duties will range from recruiting new members and providing networking opportunities to bringing in speakers and assume a large role for coordinating corporate sponsorships.
Lauren Weaver, event manager for the Chamber, told the Salisbury Daily Times that Maravalli had demonstrated leadership qualities.
