More Sundays for Deer Hunting Season in Delaware

creative commons

Deer hunting season is coming up in Delaware.

Hunters will be able to hunt for their prey for an additional 18 extra Sundays beginning on September 1st.

WBOC reports that while there will be a total of 23 Sundays of deer hunting for this year’s season in Delaware only six additional days will allow for the use of firearms.

The television station reports that some believe even with the extra days it may not be enough to deal with the large population.

Ernest Vogl is a farmer in Harrington.

He told the station that hunters do need incentives because of the crop damage from the large number of deer.
