MD Democratic Candidate for Governor to Choose Running Mate

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Del. Heather Mizeur is scheduled to announce her running mate in her bid for governor.

Mizeur says she will make her choice public on Wednesday at an American Legion Post in Silver Spring.

Mizeur is a Montgomery County Democrat. She has represented the county in the House of Delegates since 2007.

She is running against Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and Attorney General Doug Gansler for the Democratic nomination for governor.

Brown has named Howard County Executive Ken Ulman as his running mate. Del. Jolene Ivey, of Prince George's County, is running with Gansler.
