Kent County Takes Aim at Feral Cats

creative commons

Too many feral cats in Kent County?

The Levy Court Commissioners have decided to spend $10-thousand aimed at four cat colonies in central Delaware.

WBOC reports that the Trap, Neuter and Return program will focus on 200 feral cats.

And it will be carried out by the Faithful Friends group.

The hope is to reduce the feral cat population that has been damaging homes, cars and gardens.

Commissioner Jody Sweeny told the television station that the Faith Friends will provide month updates and present their findings to the public in December.
