H2Oi Moving to New Jersey

The H2O International car show is moving its event to New Jersey after a fall out with Ocean City officials.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that Showboat Hotel confirmed that the car event will take place there in October.

But there has been no official announcement.

Ocean City officials have complained about disturbances from the event which brings in a large number of young people.

Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan told the paper that he had heard that the event was moving during a meeting of the Motor Events Task Force this week.

Jay Shoup, founder of H2O International, did post a letter that was highly critical of resort officials, law enforcement and the media for how they have dealt with the event.

He said his organization should not be blamed for a few incidents caused by people not related to the car show.
