Gun Restrictions Pass Cambridge Town Council

The Cambridge Town Council unanimously approved “Fix Gun Checks Acts” legislation that would require strong background checks for those seeking to buy guns.

Mayor Victoria Jackson-Stanley told WBOC that she hoped it would send a message to state and federal officials that it is time for them to act.

The Mayor said the legislation is something that she should on the “Mayors Against Illegal Guns”.

She told WBOC that it would help heighten guns safety starting in her town that she hoped would then spread nationwide.
