Get ready for a world of new music and fun starting Monday, September 3rd on 90.7 FM, WSDL.

DPR aims to position itself as a distinct, sustainable, and forward-thinking public radio service, which is why we are transitioning WSDL toward an Adult Album Alternative (AAA) format. AAA is fast-growing format for public radio stations. WSDL will be the only public radio station employing that format on the Eastern Shore.

To be sustainable and to meet our vision for the future, WSDL will be letting go of some programs that are widely available on other public radio stations in our community. However, we’re proud to introduce new programming that provides diverse music and programming at the times our listeners tune in the most.

Join us weekdays at 3 p.m. for Global Village with Chris Heim. Heim presents a wide range of world music, along with jazz, rock, folk and other styles, and artists and songs with world and roots influences. Each program is an exciting multicultural journey into the music that brings the world together.

World Café moves to weeknights at 6 p.m. Talia Schlanger brings you interviews and performances from today’s essential and emerging artists and old favorites as well.

On Saturdays at 10AM, exercise your brain and have some fun at the same time with Says You! the game that bills itself as “bluff and bluster, words and whimsy.” If you like solving the NPR Sunday Puzzler, you’ll love Says You!

“Fresh Air,” “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me” and “PRI’s The World” will be leaving our airwaves. Our new programming maintains DPR’s commitment to bring you unique programming while fulfilling our responsibility and vision of ensuring DPR’s financially sustainability and growth for the future.
