Scott Koenig has been chosen to become the new town manager of Dewey Beach.
The vote by the town commission was unanimous – 5-to-0.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that Mayor T.J. Redefer called Koenig’s credentials remarkable.
There were 25 applicants for the job.
Koenig’s appointment follows the departure of Marc Appelbaum who had faced allegations of sexual harassment, racism and misuse of his authority.
