DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say the department will start a pilot program to study body-worn video cameras.
Col. Nathaniel McQueen Jr., state police superintendent, said in a news release Thursday that 25 troopers have started using the cameras.
The study to evaluate different camera types, mounting styles, evidence management and data storage.
McQueen says the project will offer a chance to evaluate the effect of cameras on troopers and the community.
