A Delaware commercial lab did receive live anthrax in an accidental shipment from the Department of Defense.

State health officials say they were told by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that it was a low concentration of the bug.

The Delaware Division of Public health emphasized that there is no danger to the public and that the state is working closely with the CDC on decontamination of the facility.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that state officials also declined to identify which lab was involved.

The Pentagon says it may have shipped live anthrax samples to a total of 24 labs in eleven states.
