Police have arrested a 19 year-old Baltimore woman after a Trump political billboard in Princess Anne was set on fire.

Police say that D’Asia Perry was taken into custody on the campus the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

The motive, authorities said, was over “political differences”.

The Salisbury Daily Time reports it is not clear if she attended UMES.

The paper reports that she has been charged with arson and the commission of a hate crime and has been released on a $20-thousand bond.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Saturday along the town’s commercial strip.

The estimated damage was $800.

The Daily Times reports that the billboard also advertised the late Republican Senate candidacy of Kathy Szeliga who lost to her Democratic opponent Chris Van Hollen.
