Dewey Beach officials may decide the fate of Town Manager Marc Appelbaum this Friday.
The town council is set to consider what to do in the face of a number of calls for his dismissal or suspension.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that he has been accused of sexual harassment, racial discrimination along with misuse of his office for personal purposes as well as interfering with the police.
The meeting also comes with a municipal election that is slated for Saturday.
The Town Solicitor Fred Townsend said the council meeting is merely “ a placeholder that may or may not happen”.
