With App Parents Can Track Buses in Delaware School District

Don Rush

If your child takes the bus in the Caesar Rodney School District you will be able to see if it is on time with a new smartphone app.

WBOC reports that the district has begun using the “Where’s the Bus” app that will provide the locations of the school buses as they pick up children along their route.

The district’s transportation supervisor Jason Bonner told the television station that app will require the student’s ID number and last name.

This he said will keep people from arbitrarily signing up for the app.

The app was begun with a pilot program for students at McIlvaine Early Childhood Center and Chalton School.
