Another Business Comes to North Salisbury

Aldi Website

A German grocery chain is about to open a new story on the north side of Salisbury.

The store is called Aldi and is located on Dagsboro.

Completion is expected by the end of the year.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the store is expected to employ 15 to 20 people.

It will spread out across some 12-square feet and is expected to have four to five aisles.

It will focus on fresh food, produce, dairy and baked goods.

The paper notes that Aldi is just one of a number of retailers that have opened up on the north end of the city.

Other’s include a Burlington Store, the home décor company HomeGoods, the discount home accessories store Tuesday Morning and H&M, a Swedish clothing retailer – all at the Centre at Salisbury.
