2018 National Folk Festival Celebrates Community & Creativity

National Folk Festival

2018 National Folk Festival Celebrates Community & Creativity

Join us for a look back at the first year of the National Folk Festival’s three-year run in Salisbury, Maryland, held September 7-9, 2018. The National Folk Festival was and is a fabulous event which celebrates our great American community and all of its creative resources.

Rain certainly did not get in the way of a good time that weekend. All in all, approximately 63,000 festival goers heard great music, saw beautiful artwork, learned about our collective heritage, and enjoyed good food and even better company. It was impossible to take in all the good stuff offered there in just three days – so it was equally hard to talk about all of it in just one hour for this show.

We’ve compiled a list below of all the performers, presenters, and artisans who participated in the festival so you can find out more about them. Links are provided when available.
